Vice-president of Engineering at Generix Group
Sylvain currently holds the position of Vice President of Engineering at Generix Group and has over 23 years of experience in software development. In 2017, under the supervision of professors Luc Duong (ÉTS) and Sarah Lippé (UdeM), he obtained his master's degree in software engineering from the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), with a specialization in neurosciences and artificial intelligence. His dissertation, obtained with a mention of excellence, focused on the study of the corpus callosum in survivors of pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) using magnetic resonance imaging of the brain. Sylvain also holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and software engineering from the University of Quebec in Montreal, obtained with honors. He has collaborated with the NED laboratory on various articles on the long-term effects of ALL in the white matter of the brain.
