Sandrine Mendizabal, Ph.D.

Sandrine has completed a master of science in Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience (Bordeaux and Chambéry, France) and she actually is a Ph.D. student (Research & Intervention,option Neuropsychology) with Dr Sarah Lippé and Dr Pierre Jolicoeur at the Université de Montréal, working on electroencephalography (EEG) and the visual working memory in children with benign rolandic epilepsy with centro-temporal spikes (BECTS). Since September of 2013, she is a research assistant in Dr Jolicoeur’s laboratory. During her Ph.D., Sandrine has been a teacher assistant at the Udem (Cognitive Processes 2, Interpersonal Relations, Psychology and Behavior). In regards to clinical experience, Sandrine has been an assistant supervisor since 3 years to the neuropsychological internship program with children and teenagers (PSY7488, UdeM) and she has also completed several clinical internships in neurological units with pediatric to geriatric populations suffering from multiple etiologies (Fondation Ophtalmologique Adolphe de Rothschild; Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Paris d’Hendaye (AP/HP); Centre hospitalier de la Côte Basque / Saint Jean de luz). Sandrine then worked as a neuropsychologist at CERC in Laval for a year.
She currently has her own psychology and neuropsychology clinic (http://neuropsychologie-paysbasque.fr/, Cabinet de neuropsychologie Pays Basque & Sud des Landes, France) and gives conferences.
