Marc-Philippe Lafontaine, M.Sc.

PhD student in neuropsychology - Research and intervention, University of Montreal

After his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Montreal (2010), Marc completed a master’s degree in experimental neuropsychology under Dr. Lippé’s supervision. Since then, his research interests generally focus on the neuronal mechanisms underlying learning and memory. Notably, he has completed work on the prefrontal cortex’s influence on visual encoding using electroencephalography (EEG) in healthy adults. Marc is presently a doctoral student in the scientist-practitioner neuropsychology program at the University of Montreal. Marc’s current work focuses on the development of visual associative memory in healthy infants and those with a history of febrile seizures, using EEG.
