Delphine Aubin, M.Sc. (elle/she)

PhD Student in Psychology (Research)

Delphine has been a doctoral student in psychology (research) at the Université de Montréal since 2023, under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Lippé. Her research project focuses on the brain activity of young children exposed to visual stimuli of varying intensities, and on how these responses vary according to their sensory sensitivity. She aims to contribute to the development of an EEG-based tool to better understand and detect sensory processing differences from early childhood.

Delphine holds a bachelor's degree (2018–2021) and a master's degree in psychology (2021–2023) from the Université de Montréal. Her master’s thesis focused on the links between maternal psychological distress during the perinatal period and the sensory development of the child.

Delphine is the recipient of several prestigious scholarships, including a Canada Graduate Scholarship – Doctoral (CGS D) from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), a Doctoral Research Scholarship from the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologies (FRQNT), as well as two excellence scholarships from the Fondation CHU Sainte-Justine. Her master’s studies were also supported by several excellence scholarships, including those from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS), the Fondation Savoy, and the Université de Sherbrooke.

Alongside her research activities, Delphine has contributed to numerous projects at the CHU Sainte-Justine, notably in the field of pediatric orthopedics. She also supervises undergraduate students, reflecting her strong interest in training and research mentorship.

In her free time, Delphine enjoys outdoor sports such as cycling, climbing, and swimming.
